Purple Kush, Harlequin, and GDP are 3 of the most beautiful strains, and the most potent in their own ways. Each strain contains a high amount of either THC or CBD, and are perfect for medicine gardens for this reason.
For example, Purple Kush is an Indica really high in THC, at about 15-25 percent. If you're an insomniac or struggle with physical pain, such as headaches or arthritis, You should consider Purple Kush. It's lower in CBD than THC, at about 1-5 percent.
On the other hand, Harlequin is incredibly high in CBD. CBD is the cannabanoid that aids in the prevention of seizures and is used to treat Epilepsy and Multiple Sclerosis. It's also been proven to aid in the treatment and prevention of certain cancers by attacking the cells and suppressing the tumor growth until the cells die. Harlequin averages at about 10-15 percent CBD, and it's great for nausea and stimulating your appetite, as well as aiding in anxiety relief, although it is lower in THC, at about 5-10%. If you struggle with any of the symptoms above, Harlequin will make a fantastic addition to your medicine garden as it's a great middle-of-the-road strain.
Finally, Granddaddy Purp, which averages at about 20-30 percent THC. GDP hits pretty hard, but it's a great strain for neuroprotection, sleeping, and helping that appetite, as well as anxiety relief. It has a similar affect to Purple Kush, as the THC is higher and the CBD is lower, at about 1-5 percent.
So if you're looking for really healthy clones, look no further! Harlequin is the highest in CBD, and is the best for physical ailments, while Purple Kush and GDP are higher in THC and better for sleep aids and appetite simulators.
